DECOMPOSITION PRINCIPLE

Decomposition principle - The idea of decomposing a mathematical program into two or more sets of variables and associated constraints. The purpose is to separate some portion with special structure from the rest of the mathematical program. Here are some particular ones that are in this glossary:
